Our newsletter is aimed at staying in touch with all our Members and Stakeholder Groups as well as the wider foodservice community to keep you informed about our ongoing projects, advocacy and events.


As always, our clear goal is to speak with one voice for the entire foodservice industry and its supply value chain including the five key stakeholder groups - producers, manufacturers, distributors, hospitality and service providers.  We believe this mission will raise the agenda and unlock the potential of the Australian foodservice industry.


We’re also looking forward to connecting with you at our upcoming December events — our Melbourne Christmas Lunch & State of Play Report Launch on 1 December, followed by the Sydney Christmas Party on 2 December. Your State of Play Report 2025 Access

AFAB’s fourth annual State of Play Foodservice Report was launched at a sold-out breakfast during the Fine Food Australia expo in Sydney. The report provides exclusive insights for the Australian Foodservice industry, available to eligible members via confidential online access.

AFAB & ARCA Gala 2026 - Save the date!

After the huge success of our inaugural Gala, we’re already gearing up for the 2026 event - this time in Melbourne. It was fantastic to see so many AFAB members come together for an evening of celebration, connection, and industry recognition. We can’t wait to make next year’s event even bigger and better - keep an eye out for early-bird tickets coming soon!

     

Message from the Chair

As you all know our CEO, Tony Green, had to step down from his role. Tony worked enthusiastically and tirelessly to grow AFAB’s reach since its inception four years ago. We all extend our best wishes to Tony. In the meantime, we are working towards filling the CEO role and we expect to be able to make an announcement soon. I want to assure you that AFAB’s work and various initiatives are running as usual with by its dedicated Board Members and support staff until we have a new CEO in place.
